EvalSuite for Microsoft Teams: Current Status and Alternatives
This guide explains the current Teams status clearly: what is paused, what EvalSuite does not claim yet, and what teams can use instead.

Current Teams status
Microsoft connection
Microsoft Calendar connection is separate from Teams-native capture. Calendar connection alone does not make Teams capture public GA.
Manager or org-admin access
Managers can still use EvalSuite rooms, manual notes, and supported provider capture while Teams-native capture remains paused.
Teams capture availability
Teams capture should be treated as coming soon until the Microsoft admin-consent app and rollout are ready.
Before you start
EvalSuite does not currently claim Microsoft Teams as a fully shipped public meeting provider, scheduling provider, live bot, or transcript-capture integration.
Treat Teams as coming soon for public acquisition copy. Teams-heavy teams can still use EvalSuite rooms or manual notes to preserve manager follow-through while the Microsoft rollout continues.
- Do not imply Teams-native scheduling, join-link creation, live bot capture, or transcript assignment is public GA.
- Use EvalSuite rooms for direct live capture when a Teams-specific path is not enabled.
- Use `/integrations/microsoft-teams` for buyer-facing coming-soon status.
Use Microsoft Calendar separately
Microsoft Calendar connection is a calendar workflow. It should not be described as Teams-native capture or Teams live-bot support.
- Open `Settings -> Integrations -> Calendar` in EvalSuite.
- Connect Microsoft Calendar only if the workspace needs the shipped calendar behavior.
- Use the public Teams integration status page for Teams-specific rollout expectations.
Supported alternatives today
Use these paths while Teams-native capture is paused.
- Do not claim Teams artifacts will land in Capture Inbox until the Teams rollout is actually enabled.
- Keep support and buyer copy aligned on the coming-soon status.
- Use an EvalSuite room when you need first-party live capture.
- Use manual notes when the conversation happened in Teams and no supported capture path is enabled.
- Use Google Meet or Zoom paths where those integrations are enabled and match the meeting workflow.
What EvalSuite is not claiming yet
The current public status should stay conservative until product, docs, and integration monitoring all support the same Teams contract.
- No Teams-native scheduling from EvalSuite should be implied.
- No Teams live bot or live transcript capture should be implied.
- No automatic Teams transcript assignment should be implied as public GA.
