EvalSuite Capture Inbox: Assign Later, Reassign, and Review

Use this guide when provider capture is real but the final EvalSuite meeting context still needs a manager decision.

What you need first

Manager or org-admin access

The Capture Inbox is a manager/admin workspace. Teammates do not resolve inbox items directly.

At least one active signal source

Use Zoom or Microsoft capture for meeting items, or Slack and longitudinal AI for the review-only item lanes shown in the same shell.

Known ownership or claim rights

EvalSuite routes items to the likely responsible manager when it can. Unassigned items can be claimed or handed off.

Before you start

The Capture Inbox is the central manager queue for unresolved provider capture and review work. It replaces the old idea of a hidden repair lane buried inside only 1:1 or sync pages.

Meeting capture stays backed by its provider-capture records, Slack quick captures stay backed by Review AI Suggestions, and longitudinal AI stays backed by existing teammate-signal storage. The inbox is a federated shell, not a second copy of those records.

  • Zoom and Teams meetings do not need to be scheduled in EvalSuite to be assigned later if the provider capture can still identify the right org and host.
  • Slack quick captures appear in the same inbox shell for visibility, but the canonical review flow still lives in Review AI Suggestions.
  • One provider artifact or live session becomes one inbox item. Split assignment across multiple meetings is not currently supported.

Resolve unassigned Zoom or Teams meeting capture

Use this when a Zoom recording, Zoom RTMS stream, Teams transcript, Teams recording, or Teams live capture belongs to your workspace but EvalSuite still needs the final meeting assignment.

  • EvalSuite only asks you to choose the capture type explicitly when the mapping confidence is weak or the next action is ambiguous.
  • Teams capture follows the same after-the-fact assignment path as Zoom capture.
  • Historical sync creation supports either a standing sync or an ad hoc past sync.
  1. Open `Capture Inbox` from the manager links or go directly to `/capture-inbox`.
  2. Stay on `Unassigned` to review unresolved meeting capture first.
  3. Open `Resolve` and confirm whether the capture belongs to a 1:1, a sync, or should stay as an ambient observation.
  4. Attach it to an existing completed 1:1 or sync occurrence, or create a historical 1:1 or historical sync occurrence from the capture.

Reassign already-attached capture

Use this when capture was attached to the wrong completed 1:1 or sync and needs to move without losing audit history.

  • Active transcript and evidence reads follow the new assignment after reassignment.
  • The old attachment stays audit-visible instead of being silently rewritten.
  • Reassignment is supported for both Zoom and Teams meeting capture.
  1. Open the assigned item from `Assigned` or `Superseded`.
  2. Choose `Reassign`, then pick the correct completed meeting or create the correct historical meeting.
  3. Save the reassignment so EvalSuite writes a new active assignment and marks the old one superseded.

Ownership, handoff, and review-only items

The inbox is also where managers coordinate ownership and review adjacent signals without forcing everything through meeting assignment.

  • Managers can claim unassigned items or hand them off to another manager. Org admins can override ownership across the organization.
  • Slack quick captures surface here for visibility, but keeping or converting them into evidence still routes through the existing curation flow.
  • Longitudinal AI items surface here when they need a manager review decision, not every time a background cache refreshes.

Troubleshooting and support

Use Support if capture is missing entirely, ownership looks wrong, or you need help understanding why a provider artifact never reached the inbox.
